Spread Love not Germs :P

I worked as a medical representative some years ago. One of the habits I have developed since then is that of washing one's hands every time there is a need to. Before, I was always with a rubbing alcohol since I would feel iffy every time I’d touch door handles of clinics or hospitals. Yeah, I had been and still am obsessive compulsive this way. I think I had always been like this even back in college. I remember that my cousin and I are always armed with Bench sanitizers every day in school. 

Fast forward to now, I’m still like that but I have now graduated to gel sanitizers because unlike rubbing alcohol, they do not spill easily inside my bag. The former are also way more fragrant than the latter and have more moisturizing properties too. 

Currently, I am (and I think almost everyone) hooked with the Bath and Body Works Pocketbac sanitizers. Wow! These babies never fail to perk me up.  They make hand sanitizing something to look forward to.  I have also purchased some pocketbac holders  so I could bring one of these everywhere without having to dig up through all the chaos that I dump into my bag. Unfortunately, these are only sold through PX stores and online stores. They are sold in a local department store in my place but I find the price too expensive. Luckily, my cousin works in New York so I always ask her to get me some of these babies.

Retailing in the US at $1.50, these are usually sold locally at Php 80 to even as much as Php 99 (in our local store) each.

My favorite would have to Sea Island Cotton, Japanese Cherry Blossom, White Citrus, Orange Sapphire and Blue Chiffon of the Cupcake collection.

Haul!

Last month, an online friend ( sis AD) went to the U.S. She asked me if I wanted her to get me some makeup stuff while she was there sans the service charge and shipping fees. I readily agreed. These are the stuff that I asked her to buy. Boy was I happy when I finally had these in my hands.

I will try to review all of these. I liked all of them but the item that I always reach out for is Smith's Minted Rose Lip Balm. BTW, if you are interested in the Strawberry Lip Balm (brand new, still sealed),  please let me know. I wanted to try this but I know it would take me years to use up the two other lip balms that I have already opened.

WOW: Stila Ulta Mate Set

I just got my Stila Ulta Mate Set and I gotta tell you, this is such a steal! I initially wanted to get this because I loved the eyeshadows in the Stila Barbie All Dolled Up Palette. I never expected that I would also fall in love with the Convertible and Lip Glaze.

Here’s a glimpse of these eye candies! 

And you know what the best part of this is? All these cost less than Php 1,000.

Xmas ’09 Haulage

Note: I only purchased one item but the seller was EXTREMELY generous as she included so many freebies in the package among which are a facial mask, MMU blush, MMU e/s, sample of Skin Food Lime Secret Base, sample of Kryolan Anti-Shine Powder and mini Makeup For Ever (MUFE) Aqua Eyes pencil.

Perhaps the most special of the stuff I acquired last Xmas would be this lot as I got this from a dear dear high school friend who I haven’t kept in touch for the longest time. FYI, she worked in Cannes, France before she came home and she even got to see the ultimate hunk in the world, BRAD PITT (what a lucky girl!). Christine was one of those people in HS who I really became fond of. I even remember exchanging snail mails (SMS was so not in the picture that time) with her every summer and we had this notebook/slambook which we alternately update lol. Reconnecting with her was certainly one of the best things that happened to me last Christmas. And hey she even gave me a MAC lipstick which, from my own research, is already very hard to come by nowadays, “Hotscotch”. The Clinique freebies are also very much appreciated since I’ve always wanted to try their stuff. SO HAPPY!

NARS Love

I am addicted to NARS blushes. If I'd win the lottery, the first items that I would buy would be all of this brand's blushes. It was the extremely popular "Orgasm" that got me hooked. I recently acquired three more of these blushes namely; Super Orgasm, Matahari and Luster. Should be posting reviews soon. For the meantime, i'll leave u with teaser pics of my new babies.
